A hometown race with emphasis on family fun and a premier regional event attracting top runners from all over the country.

Course Maps

For 2011 there are brand new courses for both the 5K and Alliant Energy 8K. Flat and fast out and backs along the Cedar River, with the 8K featuring the brand new Prairie Park Fishery. All races start near the Chrome Horse Saloon.

Kids’ Fun Runs

The Kids’ Fun Runs will utilize an out and back course beginning at the official 8K starting line and ending at the official 8K finish line, both next to the Chrome Horse Saloon. It will follow the initial sections of the 8K course, but have the turn around placed appropriately for the age group.

Little Kid Fun Run (5 & Under) – 200 yards- Will use same start/finish line as the 8k/5k. Kids will run out to the turnaround point and run back to the finish line.

Big Kid Fun Run (6-10) – 400 yards
