5th Season 5K Run/Walk

The 5^th Season 5K Fun Run/Walk is a non-competitive event giving you the chance to get out with friends, stretch your legs, and enjoy an Iowa morning. Bring the kids and join a great group of health conscious Eastern Iowans. Strollers are welcome!

Timing

The 5K race will utilize chip timing. At packet pickup participants will receive an electronic chip that must be worn on their shoe during the race. Scanners will record when you cross the start and finish line, and your official time will be the difference between the two.

Note there are no awards for the 5K race.

The scenic and mostly flat course takes runners and walkers along the Cedar River with an out-and-back course that allows participants a chance to see and be seen! You’ll get a chance to cheer the leaders and people you know along the way. Enjoy course entertainment all along the route and a great party for the whole family afterwards at The Chrome Horse Saloon.

KZIA 102.9 will be at the post race party with music.
