Course Maps

The 8K race begins at 7:00 am and the 5K at 8:15 am on July 4th. Please be at your location before the races begin as to not obstruct the runners during the race.

The best spots to watch and root for the runners will be along 12th Ave SE near the start and finish line, as well as the loop around Oakhill Jackson neighborhood (8K race only).

Both the 8K and the 5K run along 12th Ave SE from the Chrome Horse Saloon on 3rd St SE to 15th Ave SE. See the course maps for details.

The loop through Oakhill Jackson neighborhood runs counterclockwise along 8th St SE, to 9th Ave SE, to 6th St SE (8K race only). See the course maps for details.

Prairie Park Fishery will be closed to cars in order to allow the 8K race to progress through unobstructed as well as provide room for a water station.

Otis Road along the river is narrow, and must be completely clear for the runners to have enough room to pass through.
