The start is at Mays Island, 3rd Avenue Bridge.  NEW start time is 8 a.m. 

COURSE

The scenic and rolling course takes runners and walkers through historic neighborhoods of southeast Cedar Rapids.   The course features straight out on 3rd Avenue with a small out-and-back segment on Blake Boulevard to a turnaround point.  Runners and walkers then wind their way back downtown on 2nd Avenue to a straight-away downhill finish near the Alliant Energy Tower.    Enjoy course entertainment.

ENTRY FEE

Entry fee is $25-$40 depending on date of entry.   
$25 entry fee if postmarked by or on June 22. 
$25 entry fee if register online by or on June 25. 
$30 entry fee if postmarked by or on June 29. 
After June 25, the online entry fee is $30 through noon on July 2. 
Late registration is $35 at packet pickup on July 3. 
Race day registration is $40 at packet pickup and will close at 7 a.m. 
No refunds or transferring of race number.

PACKET PICKUP

Fifth Season Expo – Registration and Packet Pickup will be held at the Crowne Plaza Five Seasons Hotel, 350 1st Avenue NE, on July 3 from Noon to 7 p.m., and on July 4th from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.   Shirts and numbers for all entrants can be picked up at these times.   Merchandise vendors will be on site. 
Packet pickup will close at 8 a.m.

ELECTRONIC CHIP TIMING

All runners in the 5K will be provided a chip which must be affixed to your shoe and returned after you finish.  You will be timed according to gun time.  Failure to wear or return your chip will result in disqualification.  There is a $10 charge for chips not returned.  More information on chip timing is at www.ipicosports.com.

SHIRT

Participants receive a commemorative name-brand moisture management race shirt, worth wearing all summer.

POST-RACE PARTY

After the race, let the fun begin at our post-race party!!   Enjoy plenty of food, drink, music and family fun along 1st Street SE near the Alliant Energy Tower and along the 2nd Avenue Bridge overlooking the Cedar River.  Adults (registered entrants, sponsors and volunteers age 21+ only) enjoy the hospitality of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees and refreshments provided by Fleck Sales-Miller Lite at the Green Square Park. Finishers must show their race number and be prepared to show a photo ID to receive alcohol. Complimentary massages are available.
